To advance the project, the project team will complete the required environmental studies, evaluating a range of alternatives, identifying and analyzing impacts as well as potential mitigation measures. The results of these studies will be described in an Environmental Document. In the case of the PCP3 project, it is anticipated that a permit from the US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) will be required under Section 404 of the Clean Water Act. Federal funding is not proposed for the PCP3 project, and it is anticipated that the USACE will be the lead agency for the project’s Environmental Process.
